We are a
forward-thinking
, care centred practice of 3 Vets, 5 RVNs, 1 SVN and 4 receptionists. We have the ISFM silver award and aim to be fear-free with our dog handling. We see a variety of GP cases and have no OOH commitments, although this role includes a 1 in 4 Saturday morning shift given back as toil.
Our RVNs are an experienced, pro-active team. As well as the usual theatre, prep and patient care, they are responsible for a variety of nurse clinics which run every day and are very popular with our regular clients. We also have a handling shift that directly supports the vet consults and supervises dispensary.
In the last year CVS have reinvigorated our company EDI Committee and created five Colleague EDI Groups with focuses on Ability & Neurodiversity, Ethnicity, Gender, LGBTQ+ and Social Mobility. We also have a fantastic range of internal courses on our Knowledge Hub and actively encourage nurse CPD and conference attendance. Our practice director, who is also an RVN, is a member of the EDI committee and of the newly created nursing CAC group.
Starting salary from £24,500 (upon RCVS registration)
