Job Title
SAC Planning Expert
Summary of the Role:
Finance Analytics is the delivery area within the Data and Analytics department with the focus on the reporting and planning processes of the Amadeus Finance function.
As SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) expert you will contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the Amadeus SAC Platform supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub (APH); with focus on CCOP (Cost Center Operational Plan), BPOP (Business Portfolio Operational Plan) and FFC (Financial Forecast).
This position is an internal customer facing role and it requires the ability to design, code, test, debug, document and maintain SAC planning and reporting processes meeting internal customer needs while keeping the processes and solutions as standard and integrated as possible.
Scope:
Finance Analytics and Planning Services (Visualizations, Data Integration and modeling, Machine Learning…).
Supporting globally end users in all Business Units and Corporate Functions.
Answering to a wide range of company information needs for decision making.
Your main responsibilities:
Automated Solution Identification
Advise internal customers on business Analytics services.
Based on high level business requirements and considering the Analytics strategy and service portfolio in place, recommend potential solutions and provide with high level implementation sizing.
Solution Design
Collect and document the detailed business specifications with internal customers.
Analyze functional design/detailed business requirements and propose technical designs considering the impacts on existing processes and tools.
Validate the proposed solution designs with customers and solution architecture team.
Challenge business demands to avoid duplications or inefficiencies in the overall Analytics TCO.
Solution construction
Develop or customize end to end solutions (Data Modelling, Planning Data Actions, visualizations, security, data protection) in alignment to Amadeus guidelines.
Follow up and monitor the overall construction of the solution.
Conduct unit, non-regression and performance tests ensuring a level of quality in line with the Amadeus standards.
Optimize the solution based on the results of the unit, integration and performance tests.
Coordination and support during user acceptance tests ensuring the necessary fine-tuning to deploy the solution.
Produce technical documentation necessary for the solution evolution and support teams.
Produce user documentation and educational materials (including user communications) to facilitate user understanding and adoption.
Solution maintenance and support
Perform L3 support (customer/production).
Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.
Secure the adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers managing the Global Finance Template principles and industry best-practices (e.g. stability, performance, catalogue integrity).
Solution Architecture
Identify, propose and implement architecture improvements.
Configure data source connections and manage asset libraries.
Define best practices for SAC deployment and create reusable templates.
