ABOUT THE ROLE You’ll be a core team member of Pledge’s engineering team and will play a defining role in the building and the quality of our products. You’ll work directly with the founders and be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Defining the design and creation of scalable software Working as part of a cross-functional agile team including engineers, product design, product management and other stakeholders in order to ideate software solutions Designing and developing end-to-end solutions Designing and developing
modern
, secure and reliable internal and public APIs Writing clean, documented and functional code Testing software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency Troubleshooting,
debugging
and upgrading software Writing technical documentation Working with data scientists and analysts to improve software Be an advocate of end-to-end development best practices (e.g. coding, testing, deployment, maintenance).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED Proven experience as a full-stack developer, ideally working on B2B SaaS products and APIs Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies and common stacks Knowledge and experience of industry best practices and tools Experience developing web based applications
