BAM Ritchies of BAM UK&I require a Site Manager to work within the Geotechnical Engineering department of their business. As a Site Manager you are expected to play a leading role in the planning and execution of our works, across the UK to the exacting standard expected of our customers.

Your mission
Contribute to tender stage and site phase methodology
Implement and promote safe systems of work over all activities
Directly supervise section/trades foreman and sub-contractors
Supervise operations through effective delegation
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Assist development of the workforce and identify training requirements
Ensure high standard of quality on the works to at least meet the specification requirements
Who are we looking for?
SMSTS
PTS
First Aid at Work
Medium Risk Confined Space Level 2 C&G or greater (desired but training can be provided)
Strong personal skills to communicate effectively at all levels
Promote a culture of exceeding expectations
Awareness of project and business goals and able to relay these to the project team to increase workforce engagement with business
Practical experience and knowledge of a comprehensive range of ground engineering methods and techniques
You motivate and develop your team to work with each other and constructively help to resolve problems practical
