Software Tester required by a fast growing software firm in Stoke on Trent to help support the development team by providing focused QA and Product testing on new and existing releases. As the firm’s Software Tester you work closely with the developers and project leaders to help scope requirements to form a testing strategy and execute it across all platforms that may include both web and mobile.
The right Software Tester will live in a commutable distance to Stoke (hybrid) and have strong experience of software stress, performance, and unit testing in multiple environments, including writing test scripts. You’ll be a confident communicator capable of feeding back and presenting test results and updates to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. You’ll also be happy documenting your work to good standards.
Technically, the Software Tester will need experience testing across the stack, including data requiring knowledge of data quality and validation. Any experience of Cyber Security, and testing C# .Net, SQL and JavaScript software would be useful, as would experience testing android and apple application features.
