Role of a Support Worker
Are you an enthusiastic Support worker wanting to have influence in the lives of others, we are currently looking for staff to join one of our clients in Colchester, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical impairments.
Duties:
* Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in their home environment, promoting their wellbeing and independence.
* Engaging with residents in all social activities indoors & outdoors, providing companionship to promote their physical and mental wellbeing.
* Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as an HCA or support worker, must have a minimum of 6months plus in healthcare industry.
* Effective
communication
& interception skills
* Must have a child & adult DBS on update service.
* Must have own car due to location so must have a UK full driving licence.
