Job Summary:
Due to growth in workload we are looking for a
Sustainability
Advisor to join our Safety, Health, Environment and Quality team. All members of the SHEQ team provide guidance to our project teams, and audit application of the safety, health, environment and quality processes that form our Integrated Management System, which is accredited under ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert within the SHEQ team for Environmental and
Sustainability
matters, and will draw on support from other members of the team for subject matter expertise on safety, health and quality matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the continual development of the Company’s Integrated Management System
* Conduct comprehensive audits, document findings, recommend improvements, and follow through actions arising
* Provide expert advice and guidance on to senior managers and project teams
* Facilitate and deliver training programs to ensure understanding and consistent application of our SHEQ processes, with a particular focus on environmental and
sustainability
matters
* Liaise with external authorities and independent auditors, and manage interactions with subcontractors and subconsultants to maintain a competent supply chain
* Support the company’s commitment to
continuous improvement
in health, safety, environmental, and quality matters
Minimum Qualifications:
We welcome applications from candidates holding a degree level qualification in a subject that demonstrates a high degree of technical and analytical ability at level 2:1 or above. Candidates with qualifications/training in the field of environment and
sustainability
are preferred.
