Cairn Risk is an independent, employee-owned risk management consulting business providing pragmatic and proportionate support to enable the transition to net carbon zero in a safe, effective and attentive way. We advise developers, owner-operators and technology providers, primarily around the generation, storage, transmission, transformation and consumption of clean, sustainable and secure energy. We help our clients demonstrate their risks to people, environment, business and reputation are being managed effectively throughout the full lifecycle of their assets.

OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for consultants from junior level up to highly experienced risk management leaders to help us deliver our three integrated services:
1. Asset Integrity Management to protectPLANT
2. Health & Safety Risk Management to protectPEOPLE
3. Environmental & Societal Risk Management to protect thePLANET
We are particularly interested in individuals with proven experience in:
1. Technical Safety/Safety Assurance
2. Process Safety
3. Functional Safety
4. Cyber Security

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
Whilst we recognise every candidate has their own unique set of attributes, we are looking for a blend of the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree level qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline and Chartered membership of a relevant institution.
Proven, practical experience in one or more of our overarching, integrated services within the technologies that underpin the energy transition and in a consultancy setting.
Aptitude and vision to take tried, tested and accepted risk management methodologies from more mature, regulated industries and adapt these to provide a proportionate and pragmatic approach to the management of risk which …
