It has manufacturing and research facilities in India, the USA and UK and a manufacturing facility in Ireland (Pinewood Healthcare).We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator based in our Ballymount Dublin Site. Thesuccessful candidatemust be a strong team player and have the ability to multi-task within a busy working environment.Key Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
Functions are completed in accordance with established standards, GDP and SOPs
Ensure all orders are picked accurately and in time for scheduled departure times. Record keeping in terms of Pick Lists(orders and lines picked), Delivery Notes and Invoices
Maintain general warehouse cleanliness and order.
Ensure designated isles are kept tidy and in line with GDP Guidelines.
Maintain regular contact with other employees to correct inventory items
Ensure effective and proper usage of warehouse MHE
Ensure visibility vest and safety shoes are worn at all times in the warehouse.
Assist and support other employees as needed
Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems including identified potential security risks.
Attend and participate in company meetings as required
Ensure that work area is clean, secure and well maintained
Inventory is sorted, stored and maintained appropriately and in line with GDP Guidelines, whilst maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse.
Participate in company stocktakes and continuous inventory counts.
To maintain continuous focus on Health & Safety, Hygiene and housekeeping, always work in a safe and responsible manner
Support the Operational Excellence Programme and continuous improvement culture in the company and lead the improvement activities in the Warehouse.
Engage in positive relations with relevant departments within the company
Work Transversally across the company.
Contribute effectively to the team achievement of optimum productivity.
Comply fully with company access control requirements.
Key Requirements
A self starter with the ability to use own initiative at all times.
Strong attention to detail is essential
Experience working on SAP desirable
Be a team player with a can do attitude.
Ability to build and develop successful long term relationships with all key stakeholders including customers, operational management, sales and other teams and departments within the company.
Demonstrate leadership that promotes and exemplifies the highest standards in teamwork, personal accountability and mutual support.
Real time management to ensure utmost focus is always maintained.
Effectively promote the reputation of the company.
