Year 5 Teacher
Responsibilities
· As a Year 5 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting
teamwork
, and cultivating a conducive
learning environment

· Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child’s learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
· Keeping track of children’s progress and occasionally reporting back to parents
Year 5 Teacher
Requirements
· A qualified teacher status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent
· Experience in teaching Year 5 students and preparing them for SATs exams
· A

of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results
· A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methodologies
