Clinical Theatre Manager – Surgical/Scrub Bupa Cromwell Hospital – SW5 0TU
(5 mins walk from Earls Court underground or 7 mins walk from Gloucester Road underground.) £65,000-£75,000 per annum Monday to Sunday Full time 37.5 hours p/w across 5 days Join us and receive a one-off Golden Hello of £4,500, or £5000 towards Domestic Relocation Costs (if applicable). Financial support available to successful candidates to access fast track visa processing, subject to eligibility.

. We have 5 operating suites catering for Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT and Ophthalmic, Plastics, General/Vascular, Urology and Gynaecology.
We work with surgeons who are the best in their specialities carrying out simple to the more complex surgeries. You’ll help us make health happen by:
You will
provide operational and clinical
leadership
to the theatre department, leading on and developing the service all areas of the theatre service. As an experienced clinical leader with a Scrub/Surgical background, you’ll be managing the day to day running of the Theatre ensuring maximum use of available capacity, as well as working clinically as and when required Lead on and manage change and quality improvements across the department Working closely with Divisional Manager, will participate in the review/develop of the service strategy.
Own and maintain key performance indicators for the services, which monitor key outcomes, and demonstrate delivery of ambitious targets to continually improve performance. Ensure that all staff working within the service are clear about what is expected and are working together in successful teams to achieve the hospital’s vision.
Ability to
multi-task between
hands-on
clinical duties if required, people management, rota management and compliance management Exercising the authority to resolve day-to-day management issues within the Service. Providing appropriate input and challenge to clinical and service corrective plans where necessary Provide strong visible
leadership
across the Theatre Suite Responsible for ensuring the service works within the
regulatory compliance
framework, including CQC directives Line manage, coach and develop team members and conduct annual performance appraisals in conjunction with the Divisional Manager Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
Experience at a senior level in a large, complex healthcare environment, including staff management, financial management and
change management
Advanced Surgical Skills
Experience of
leading multiple surgical specialties in a busy operating theatre
Experience of
measuring KPI’s Evidence of management training. RN 1st level registration Adult or Children ODP Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Perioperative Practice Teaching/assessing qualification.
