Our client is on the lookout for an Infrastructure Team Lead to join theirdynamicteam in a hybrid role based at their Head Office in Birmingham. The successful candidate will spearhead a talented group of Infrastructure, Networking and Application Specialists, ensuring the delivery of a robust and secure infrastructure environment.
The Role:
The Infrastructure Team Lead will play a pivotal role in:
Delivering exceptional technical support and driving a customer-first approach.
Providing specialist technical expertise across the company’s Infrastructure and Cloud Environment.
Leading the teamin incident resolution,problem identification, and proactive maintenance.
Contributing to the Technology Strategy and ensuring alignment with the Infrastructure Roadmap.
Acting as an escalation point and duty manager during major incidents as part of a rota.
The Candidate:
The ideal Infrastructure Team Lead will possess:
Extensive experience in aleadershiprole with significant technical delivery/support responsibilities.
Expertise in VMware, Cisco Networking, Microsoft and Google Technologies, and security best practices.
Strong customer-facing andcommunication skills, capable of managing critical issues and leading with accountability.
A data-driven andcontinuous improvementmindset.
Relevant technical knowledge and specialisms to an “Expert” level.
