We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager to lead the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for Horizon Care andEducation.
Horizon’s mission is to enable young people to fulfil their potential and shape their own futures through therapeutic care, support, andeducation.
About the Role:
As this is aleadershiprole, the Procurement Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and work closely with various stakeholders across Support Services, Residential services,Educationand Transitional Services.
Leading Horizon Care andEducation’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain. You will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, and acquiring cost-efficient products and services without compromising on quality.
To lead the delivery of the end-to-end procurement process for Horizon Care andEducation. Lead and develop the day-to-day goods and service needs. Develop and implement the procurement strategy for a growing, multi-site provider of Care andEducation.
Experience and skills required:
Strong relationship management andcommunication skills
Procurement / supplier management experience
Contract management
Strong Negotiation and influencing skills
Experience across various sectors would be advantageous
Strong Reporting andanalytical skills
Invoice approval and contract disputes
Working collaboratively with internal and external teams
You will beremote workingwith travel to our head office based in Cannock, so a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
